"I recently went to La Antoñita with my parents while they were visiting Madrid, and was overwhelmed with how wonderful the restaurant, the service, and the quality of the ingredients was. The plates were delicious -- you can tell great care is taken to select the finest quality ingredients, as even the simplest of dishes (like the tomatoes) are packed with delicious flavor. Other plates worth ordering are the rice, the carrilleras, the bacalao, and, of course, the "jabón" dessert! The service is also wonderful; the staff was nice, attentive, and friendly. The decor is also nice, and I applaud the design team for incorporating some older elements (like the stone tub in the washroom) as well as the dining area within the corrala of the building. I have already been back again, and will be sure to keep La Antoñita on my shortlist."

"Had a solo dinner here. Service was excellent. Had the pork ribs - which were very good. The wine selection was great. Had 2 reds by the glass. For dessert had the "soap" dish. Decent. This is located on the wine/restaurant street of Madrid."

"Although I loved other cities more, this was the best dinner we ever had in this Spain trip. Very impressive taste and idea. Strongly recommend the crispy ox tail wrap “Rabo Detoro” and you don’t want to miss the “bubble and soap” dessert!"

"it was an amazing experience to find this restaurant unpurposedly. We just saw few crowd in front of the door and tried our luck to enjoy the meal. We went the second time before our departure. The food was really amazing. The chef was very friendly. I love the juicyness of the tomato salad dish."

"Wonderful experience. They open at 7pm and we showed up and found ourselves the first table. Yes they like to eat late in Spain! Haha. So we had some drinks, some beef tenderloin and some king prawns. The portions are good and the service is outstanding. They even had English menus!"
